Thinkertoys

Today in comp class we started off with a discussion. The discussion was about a reading and activity we had completed for homework called Thinkertoys. When we were done with the discussion we moved onto another activity. We were to think of a Swiss army knife, but make it our own. We had to incorporate everything we thought that the average college student would need on a daily basis, and it could be either realistic or unrealistic. In my Swiss army knife, I included things like pens, pencils, chargers, books, ID card holder, an ipod, and more. Professor Morris explained to the class that she had wanted us to be more creative, but she understood why most of the class had stuck to realistic things, and it was because we had been taught to stick to what is realistic.
