After being sick the past few days and the added stress of starting new classes, surprisingly, college composition gave me something to look forward to. I have never really been into writing and I am not very creative. I find it much easier to write when I am being told what to write about than when I have to come up with my own topic. Professor Morris was energetic and fun and made the class environment very inviting. I am excited to see what she has in store for the class this semester. On the first day, we were all introduced by one and other in the class after filling out papers about one another. On the second day, we watched a documentary called, Speaking of Creativity. Although the questions were strange and interesting, we were later told that they had a purpose. I can honestly say the first two day of college composition were not at all what I expected them to be. Hopefully the rest of the semester will be this interesting.
